Let me tell you a story

Let me tell you a story!

I have had the most amazing, scary, profound and lifechanging experience and I want to share some insights with you.

The last few years I have had the privilege to work with the teacher plant Ayahuasca, which is an amazing gift of life. It is for sure not an easy path, because you get confronted with your fears and your unconscious mind. But it is so rewarding and beautiful as well.

Imagine… I have met my fear. It was an energetic primal fear. I have felt fear in my body and wanted to hide.
The spirit of the plant told me in humorous way.
„Stop giving this fear your attention, it is busy with it’s self already enough.“

Something so simple and yet so true. It is like the story of the two wolves:

An old Cherokee (Native American tribe) is teaching his grandson about life.
“A fight is going on inside me,” he said to the boy.
“It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.
One is evil – he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.”

He continued, “The other is good – he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. The same fight is going on inside you – and inside every other person, too.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
“Which wolf will win?”

The old Cherokee simply replied, “THE ONE YOU FEED.

See the video of the story here:

See we can’t be in peace if we fight what we don’t want or what we don’t like. Only through accepting and realizing that there is a positive intend behind every „negative“ emotion and behavior. It is about to look closer what you are afraid of but instead of fighting it to embrace it. And then focus again on what you want.

It sucks a lot of energy if we suppress consciously and unconsciously what we fear.

On the next post I want to share with you an important insight about celebrating.

I would love to hear from you where in life do you hold back? What are your fears?

Much Love
